Careers at Glo Dermatology — Join Our Team in Parma, Ohio

At Glo Dermatology, we are committed to delivering exceptional medical and cosmetic dermatology care while creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. From the moment a patient checks in at the front desk to the moment they complete a treatment, every member of our team plays a vital role in that experience. We believe our team is the foundation of our mission — and we are always looking for talented people who share our passion for skin health, aesthetics, and genuine patient care.

Led by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shaza Daoud, MD, Glo Dermatology has served the Parma, Ohio and greater Cleveland community since 2014. Our practice has built its reputation on something that cannot be taught from a textbook: truly listening to patients. Dr. Daoud's patient-first philosophy shapes everything we do, and it shapes the kind of teammates we look for. If you are compassionate, motivated, and professional — and you are passionate about patient care, aesthetics, and personal growth — we would love to hear from you.

Why Join the Glo Dermatology Team?

Choosing where to build your career matters just as much as choosing what career to build. At Glo Dermatology, we have worked hard to create a workplace where team members feel supported, challenged, and valued. Here is what you can expect when you join our practice:

A Positive and Collaborative Work Environment

Our office culture is built on mutual respect, open communication, and teamwork. We are a close-knit team where every voice matters — whether you are a seasoned medical professional or just beginning your career in dermatology. Because we are an independent, physician-led practice rather than a large corporate chain, our team members work directly alongside Dr. Daoud and have real input into how we care for our patients.

Opportunities for Professional Growth and Training

Dermatology is a constantly evolving field, and we invest in our people. Team members receive ongoing training in clinical protocols, new treatment technologies, product knowledge, and patient communication. Whether your goal is to deepen your clinical skills, expand into cosmetic services, or grow into a leadership role, we support the professional development that gets you there.

Exposure to Advanced Cosmetic and Dermatologic Treatments

Working at Glo Dermatology means hands-on exposure to a full spectrum of care — from medical dermatology conditions like acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer screening to advanced cosmetic services including Botox®, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, and microneedling. Few practices in the Cleveland area offer this breadth of experience under one roof.

Employee Discounts on Products and Services

As a member of our team, you will enjoy generous employee discounts on our professional skincare products and in-office cosmetic services. We believe our team should experience the same treatments and results our patients love.

A Modern, Patient-Focused Practice

Our office at 5500 Broadview Rd, Parma, OH 44134 is designed with both patients and staff in mind — modern equipment, efficient systems, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You will work in an environment where quality of care always comes before volume, and where taking the time to do things right is the standard, not the exception.

Current Opportunities

We periodically hire for a variety of clinical and administrative positions. Even when we are not actively recruiting, we keep strong resumes on file and reach out as opportunities open. Positions we hire for include:

Medical Assistant

Our medical assistants work side by side with Dr. Daoud during patient visits — rooming patients, documenting histories, assisting with in-office procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy, and helping patients understand their treatment plans. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, compassionate professional who wants meaningful clinical experience in dermatology. Prior dermatology experience is a plus but not required for candidates with a strong medical assisting background and a willingness to learn.

Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Our front desk team is the first impression of Glo Dermatology — on the phone and in person. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, checking patients in and out, and answering questions with warmth and professionalism. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuinely friendly demeanor are essential. Experience with electronic medical records and medical scheduling software is helpful.

Patient Coordinator

Patient coordinators guide patients through their care journey — from consultation to treatment scheduling to follow-up. In this role, you will help patients understand their options for both medical and cosmetic services, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure no patient ever feels lost in the process. This position suits an organized, empathetic communicator who enjoys building relationships.

Esthetician

Licensed estheticians at Glo Dermatology perform treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling support, and skincare consultations under the guidance of our medical team. This is a unique opportunity to practice esthetics in a medical setting, working with physician-grade products and technologies that go beyond what a traditional spa environment offers. An active Ohio esthetician license is required.

Cosmetic Injector / Aesthetic Nurse

Experienced injectors (RN, NP, or PA) deliver neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments including Botox®, Dysport, JUVÉDERM®, and Restylane®. Candidates should hold an active Ohio license, have documented injection experience, and share our commitment to natural-looking results and conservative, patient-centered treatment planning. Training and mentorship with Dr. Daoud is provided.

Don't see a current opening that matches your experience? We still encourage you to submit your resume for future consideration. Our practice continues to grow, and we frequently return to our resume file first when new positions open.

What We Look For

Credentials matter, but character matters more. Across every role at Glo Dermatology, we look for the same core qualities:

  • Compassion: Our patients often come to us feeling self-conscious about their skin or anxious about a diagnosis. We hire people who treat every patient with patience, empathy, and dignity.
  • Professionalism: We maintain high standards in everything from clinical documentation to how we answer the phone. Reliability, discretion, and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
  • A growth mindset: Dermatology and aesthetics evolve quickly. We look for team members who are curious, coachable, and excited to keep learning.
  • Team spirit: In a practice our size, everyone pitches in. We value colleagues who support one another and take pride in shared success.
  • Passion for the field: Whether your interest is medical dermatology, cosmetic aesthetics, or patient experience, genuine enthusiasm for this work shines through — and our patients notice.

Our Culture: Patient Care Comes First

Every practice says it puts patients first. At Glo Dermatology, it is the operating principle behind every decision we make. Dr. Daoud founded this practice on the belief that patients deserve a physician who listens — really listens — and builds an individualized treatment plan around each person's unique skin, goals, and circumstances. That same philosophy extends to how we treat our team.

We keep our schedules humane so our staff can give each patient real attention. We celebrate wins together, learn from challenges together, and maintain a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Many of our team members have been with us for years — and we think that says more about our culture than anything we could write here.
